This
site exists for the sole purpose of redistributing Linux distributions
on CD to save you the time and effort and cost downloading
them. A typical single CD download takes around 30 hours on
a 56k connection. Too slow to be reliable and at a penny a
minute it just isn't cost effective.
How many times have
you tried to download a file from the net only to have the
connection fail before it finishes, losing all the already
downloaded data? Download managers which typically split the
file up into pieces and reassemble them after completion are
not reliable, often corrupting the data.
The obvious solution
is to have someone with a fast connection download the data
for you and burn it to CD. That's where we come in.
All distros are
burned at lower speeds to ensure compatability with older
CD-Rom drives, and are clearly labeled for easy identification.

use brand name CD-Rs
